The phone and the watch run the same scoring code — a single shared Swift package, not two implementations that can drift apart. They cannot disagree about a score.

Matches are kept on your device. Signing in is optional and exists only to carry them to a second one.

How it works
Three steps to a running match
No sign-up wall, and no setting you have to go hunting for later. Pick the scoring system, game format and first server, and the scoreboard is live.

Side-out or rally. Singles or doubles. One game, best of three or best of five. Choose 7, 11, 15 or 21 points and the winning margin.
Choose who serves
Tap the side starting the match. Serving side, server number and court rotation follow from there.
Tap to score
Your half of the court is the button. Points, games and the match advance on their own.
Pickleball scoring, explained
How pickleball scoring works
Pickleball score calls depend on who serves, whether the match uses side-out or rally scoring, and whether you play singles or doubles. Picklematic keeps those moving parts together.
Game targets and margin
Choose a game to 7, 11, 15 or 21 points. A two-point margin is the standard choice; win-by-one is available for shortened or team-play formats.
Side-out scoring
Only the serving side can add a point. Losing a rally moves the serve to the next partner or across the net.

Yes. Scoring, match history and every setting work fully offline, so nothing in the match flow depends on the network.
How does side-out scoring work?
Only the serving side can score. In doubles, each partner gets a server turn before a side-out, except that the opening serving team starts on second server at 0–0–2. Picklematic tracks the serving side and server number automatically.
Can I undo a point I scored by mistake?
Yes. Undo steps back one rally at a time and can be used repeatedly, including across game boundaries.
Does Picklematic work on Apple Watch?
Yes. The watch app shows the live score and the serving indicator, and lets you add points without taking your phone out of your bag.
What match formats does Picklematic support?
